Job Duties:
Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 3 Maths classes.
Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a conducive learning environment
Follow the school's policies and procedures in delivering lessons
Assess and provide feedback on students' work
Collaborate with other teachers in the Maths department to ensure continuity and consistency across teaching and learning.
Typical working hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS check
Bachelor's degree in Maths or relevant field
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Experience:
Maths teaching experience, that can be referenced
Experience working with diverse student populations
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of the UK Maths Curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
