Job Overview
Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Requirements
It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence. Own transport is an advantage.
Vetting
It is vital that you have a full 5‑year checkable employment/education history. Failure to do so could result in offer withdrawal or employment termination.
Main Duties
- Deliver industry leading customer service.
- Deter violence and public order offences.
- Conduct patrols of the store.
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
- Liaise with the store management teams.
- Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store.
- Wear Body Worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety.
