Key Responsibilities:
 1. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans to address alcohol and drug-related challenges in West Dunbartonshire.
 2. Co-ordination and Networking: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among various organisations, including health agencies, social services, Police Scotland, and community groups, to enhance the overall impact of ADP initiatives.
 3. Programs Development: Identify opportunities for new programmes and initiatives aimed at prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery support. Ensure programmes align with best practices and evidence-based approaches.
 4. Community Engagement: Engage with the local community to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote understanding of substance misuse issues. Foster partnerships with community organisations to enhance outreach efforts.
 5. Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ADO interventions through data collection, analysis and regular reporting. Use findings to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
 6. Training and Capacity Building: Organise and facilitate training sessions for professionals, volunteers, and community members to enhance their knowledge and skills in addressing alcohol and drug-related issues.
 7. Resource Management: Manage the allocation and utilisation of resources, including budget oversight, to ensure efficient delivery of ADP services.
