Front of House Manager – Luxury Country House Hotel, South West England £40,000 per annum
Package: Role: Front of House Manager, Location: South West England, Contract: Full-time, 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends as required.
We’re working with a luxury country house hotel in the South West of England to appoint a Front of House Manager to lead their guest-facing operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing reception, duty management and nights, ensuring a seamless experience from pre‑arrival through to departure.
The Role:
* Lead, support and develop the reception, duty and night teams.
* Oversee the full guest journey, ensuring warm, professional and efficient service.
* Manage day‑to‑day front office operations, standards and procedures.
* Work closely with the senior management team to drive service, efficiency and consistency.
* Support with scheduling, training, reviews and ongoing team development.
* Act as a visible duty manager presence across the hotel when required.
About You:
* Currently a Head of Department or strong Assistant Front of House Manager ready to step up.
* Experience within quality hotels, ideally luxury or boutique.
* A natural people leader – calm, confident and approachable.
* Highly organised, with strong time‑management and communication skills.
* Comfortable working across reception, duty management and night operations.
* Tech‑savvy with experience of hotel PMS (Opera or similar an advantage).
