What will you be doing as a Conveyancing Fee Earner (Premium Conveyancing) -
* Prepare comprehensive legal packs from the point a property is first marketed, identifying potential issues early to minimise delays at the start of the sale process.
* Manage a personal caseload of both sale and purchase files from instruction through to completion.
* Draft, review, and finalise all core conveyancing documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and related legal documentation.
* Examine mortgage offers, search results, and contract packs for purchase matters, raising enquiries where necessary.
* Maintain proactive communication with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure each transaction progresses efficiently.
* Oversee financial elements of each matter, including preparation and verification of completion statements.
* Ensure compliance with CQS, SRA, and CLA requirements, as well as solicitor account rules.
* Supervise and delegate work to a Conveyancing Assistant, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
* Carry out weekly file reviews and provide regular updates to clients and agents.
What are we looking for?
* Extensive previous experience as a Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer, or Solicitor.
* Strong understanding of all conveyancing processes and regulatory compliance obligations.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Confident communication and relationship-building skills, ensuring clients feel supported and informed.
* Proactive and detail-focused, able to work efficiently under pressure and manage deadlines.
* A commitment to outstanding client service, with a positive and solution-driven approach.
