What skills and experience we're looking for
* No formal skills required, but a desire to work with children is essential.
* Ability to work in a busy environment.
* Food Hygiene certificate is essential (to be arranged after appointment).
* Commitment to safeguarding.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Positive and supportive relationships with staff and pupils.
* Adaptable and flexible attitude.
* Embraces collaborative working.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise children during meals, in the playground, classrooms, corridors, cloakrooms, toilets, etc., and escort them between classrooms and dining areas where necessary.
* Prepare dining rooms, including setting out tables and chairs as appropriate.
* Distribute meals and serve water as required.
* Clear tables, collect rubbish, wash and stack away tables, chairs, water jugs, and clean the dining area.
