We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join us as a Weighbridge Security Officer in Uttoxeter to operate weighing plants and issue measurement tickets. A valid SIA Front-Line License – essential. A Full manual UK Driving License - essential. Experience with Weighbridges and excellent front of house Knowledge - essential. Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel) Able to achieve a DBS and vetting to BS7858 Standards. What are you going to do: Identify the different types of material to apply the correct load tolerances. Follow rules and regulations regarding vehicle weight limits. Remove bundles from loads where necessary whilst observing for any errors/omissions. Ensure drivers who arrive on site have the correct PPE. Issue correct loads by reviewing reference numbers. Ensure any scrap metal is recorded accurately and applied to the correct debt/location.
