Media Planning and Operations Manager – 12 month FTC
The Media Planning and Operations Manager is responsible for creating, delivering and optimising commercial campaigns for partnership or media-only clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as an expert in all Economist Impact commercial products (print, digital, online, apps, films, social) and guide the sales team in conceiving media plans customized for each client.
* Complete RFP responses, submit required information to clients/agents, and ensure timely delivery of proposals.
* Ensure campaigns are correctly inputted and reserved within relevant delivery systems (including Operative One, Google Ad Manager, DV360, Acast, Passendo) to prevent inventory clashes and loss of revenue.
* Co-ordinate booking and launch of social media amplification campaigns with the social planning and operations team.
* Monitor live campaigns for delivery and optimisation, preventing revenue loss due to under-delivery.
* Provide sales and partnership activation teams with campaign delivery results and benchmarks for end-of-campaign reporting and feedback.
Experience & Skills
* Firm understanding of media and the advertising landscape (print, online, audio, video, apps, social).
* Experience building media plans and knowledge of media concepts, terminology and media math.
* Familiarity with KPIs, industry benchmarks and how to achieve them.
* Experience working with multiple ad-servicing technologies to deliver, optimise and reconcile digital campaigns.
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple time-sensitive requests.
* Strong time-management, organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Understanding of specific market nuances within international markets.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
