As a Site Reliability Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Global Tax Technology Team, you will use technology to solve business problems and leverage software engineering best practices as we strive towards excellence. This role often works independently to execute small to medium projects, but you’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross functional teams to continually improve your level of knowledge about JPMorgan Chase’s business and relevant technologies.
Corporate Tax Technology The Corporate TAX product lines enables JPMorgan to efficiently manage tax compliance and meet the regulatory demand firmwide for taxes owed on behalf of the firm. State of the art best in class modern technology to allow for complex tax rule configuration and digitization ultimately meeting the end goal of delivering real time transaction level digital data to Tax authorities. Leveraging industry standard modern solutions and synergies with people and tools for receivables and tax determination pillars to provide best in class solution to meet tax requirement, leveraging best practices like firmwide common utility groups. The tax product line comprises of 29 applications with the mission statement to structure the firm's operations and legal entity structure to ensure it operates as tax-efficiently as possible; Support the businesses on tax-related issues; Protect the firm from tax-related reputational risk and defend the firm’s tax positions on audit.

2. Participates in triaging, examining, diagnosing, and resolving incidents and work with others to solve problems at their root

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
7. Ability to code in at least one programming language
8. Familiar with site reliability concepts, principles, and practices
9. Familiar with observability such as white and black box monitoring, service level objective alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, and others
10. Familiarity with containers or a common Server OS such as Linux and Windows
11. Emerging knowledge of software, applications and technical processes within a given technical discipline (., Cloud, artificial intelligence, Android,
12. Emerging knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform
13. Ability to work in a large, collaborative team and demonstrates the willingness to vocalize ideas with peers and managers
14. Understanding of how to prioritize and adjust work plans to adapt to changes in assigned responsibilities and projects
