Overview
Join to apply for the Occupational Therapist role at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. This is a rotation at North Manchester General Hospital to develop clinical and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
* Carry a caseload of complex and varied patients within each specialty.
* Supervise more junior staff and participate in student training; delegate for the team lead when needed.
* Participate in service development and contribute to a fast-paced discharge-to-assess environment.
* Engage in regular supervision, in-service training, and professional development opportunities.
* Be prepared to participate in a 7-day service.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute settings is advantageous; community and intermediate care experience is relevant.
* Enthusiastic, motivated, dynamic, and team-oriented; able to develop clinical and leadership skills.
* Open to current Band 5/6 OTs seeking a new challenge and opportunities in service development.
