GSL Education are hiring a skilled Design Technology (DT) Teacher to work with schools across Doncaster, including the DN2 and DN6 districts, delivering engaging hands‑on lessons that build problem‑solving and technical skills. As a Design Technology Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons across a range of DT disciplines, encourage innovative thinking, and maintain a safe and motivating classroom environment where students can explore design processes effectively. Core Responsibilities: Teach Design Technology concepts through practical and theory lessons. Support pupils in developing technical, creative, and problem-solving skills. Maintain high standards of safety and behaviour in workshops and classrooms. Provide constructive feedback to pupils to enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning. Monitor pupil progress and keep accurate assessment records. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge and experience as a Design Technology Teacher. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to inspiring learners of all abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A professional approach to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
