Learning & Development Trainer – HealthHarmonie Minds (ADHD Assessment Service)
About HealthHarmonie: part of the Medinet group, a leading private healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient‑centred services across the UK.
We are expanding our services to include HealthHarmonie Minds – an innovative new service providing ADHD assessments and support. We seek a passionate and experienced Learning & Development Trainer with a background in mental health or neurodiversity.
Location: Head Office, Edgbaston, Birmingham.
About the role
Design, deliver, and continuously improve training programmes for colleagues within our ADHD service. Embed best practice and consistent service standards across patient touchpoints. Collaborate with clinical teams, managers, and operational leads.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging induction and service‑specific training for staff supporting ADHD assessments.
* Translate complex mental health and neurodevelopmental concepts into practical, accessible learning.
* Ensure training aligns with regulatory standards, clinical pathways, and organisational values.
* Work closely with service managers to identify learning needs and tailor training to individual and team performance goals.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance communication, empathy, and patient engagement skills.
* Promote a culture of curiosity, reflection, and continuous improvement within the service.
* Measure training effectiveness through feedback, performance outcomes, and quality audits.
* Maintain and regularly update training materials to reflect evolving clinical guidance and best practice.
* Support the ongoing professional development of team members across the ADHD service.
About You
Confident and compassionate trainer with experience in mental health or neurodiversity‑focused services, ideally ADHD, autism, or wider mental health settings. Balanced clinical awareness, communication skill, and instructional design capability.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience delivering training within a healthcare or mental health setting.
* Strong understanding of mental health, neurodiversity, or ADHD‑related service delivery.
* Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
* Empathetic communication style and ability to model patient‑centred behaviours.
* Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, adaptable and proactive.
* Experience in evaluating learning effectiveness and implementing improvements.
Desirable
* Knowledge of ADHD assessment processes or neurodevelopmental care pathways.
