We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected facilities management company seeking an experienced Electrical bias Multi Skilled Mobile Engineer. This is a great opportunity to join a skilled team working across a variety of commercial properties throughout the Midlands/Southern Region. This role involves working independently in a mobile capacity, covering various commercial properties, retail spaces, leisure complexes, schools, and more. Job details: * Carry out repair, maintenance, and installation of all building systems and plant equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations, best practice, and contractual standards. * Deliver all technical services (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) safely, efficiently, and to agreed service levels. * Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the client, ensuring clear communication and high levels of customer satisfaction. * Support the operation and improvement of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes, fault diagnosis, and system optimisation. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance, testing, and remedial actions. * Work collaboratively with operational, administrative, and subcontractor teams to ensure smooth delivery of hard services. * Monitor and enforce site safety procedures, inductions, and permit-to-work compliance. * Operate and maintain critical systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, water, and BMS) to ensure business continuity and resilience. * Make sound engineering decisions to maintain service integrity and system reliability. * Participate in the on-call rota (including weekends) and support incident management and emergency response activities. * Maintain professional development, up-to-date technical knowledge, and awareness of new standards or service improvements. * Participate in the out-of-hours / on-call rota (1 in 14). Qualifications/Experience: * Minimum 3 years’ experience with commercial electrical systems. * Recognised technical qualifications such as: City & Guilds 2330, 2360, 2365, 2351, or equivalent Level 3 Diplomas. * EAL Level 3 Diplomas in Electrotechnical or Electrical Installation (or equivalent). * 18th Edition. * NET AM2 Certificate (desirable). * Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. * IT literate, capable of using CAFM systems and reporting tools.
