GXO is currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join us at our site in Avonmouth to support our new business win. You will assist in the effective management of the site finance department with operational support activities, including the preparation and submission of weekly forecasts, P&L reconciliations, budgeting, and period-end reporting in compliance with corporate policies and deadlines.

This role is full-time and permanent, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00.

You will receive a salary of up to £38,000.00 per annum and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. What you'll do on a typical day:

* Complete weekly and month-end management accounts for review with the operational management team.
* Provide detailed analysis to the customer and prepare monthly reporting packs with supporting documentation for financial charges.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders and deepen understanding of operational processes.
* Use initiative and judgment to support operational excellence, challenge the status quo, and maximize business benefits.


What you need to succeed at GXO:

* Proven experience in a management accounting role.
* CIMA / ACCA studying or AAT qualified, or equivalent.
* Experience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Familiarity with open book accounting principles is beneficial.
