Chester office Permanent Position Your mission: Proactively you will manage customer needs and expectations, ensuring alignment with demand & capacity plans whilst developing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and with the various internal departments. Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly demand review meetings with customers you will be an active member of the member of the Ardagh Metal Packaging Trading UK team. Key Responsibilities: You will, manage customer Inventory to ensure correct stock coverage, including slow moving stock, new designs and obsolescence, monitor forecast accuracy working closely with customers to meet targets, manage day to day customer call off requirements ensuring all requirements are met on time which includes SAP administration of orders & returns whilst working closely with key stake holders to ensure all orders are met OTIF. In addition, you will be required to update and issue reports, including stocks reports, ATM models and capacity and demand overviews. Work on demand analysis, driving process improvements to ensure effective communication with customers and within the UK Trading team. Demand Analysis on a 13-week horizon using forecasts, sales, capacity and demand plans. Ensure customer and business plans are aligned Highlighting potential supply risks or opportunities Proactively using analysis to ensure smooth operation Short Term demand analysis, 4–5-week Horizon monitoring call offs vs forecasts and available capacity to ensure no risk to supply Administration duties are required as you would expect in a Supply and Demand environment. Requirements: Education Level: 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English at C Grade or above. MS Office – good working knowledge of Word/ Excel / Powerpoint. Good working knowledge of SAP. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working within a fast paced, high volume manufacturing organisation, be highly motivated and have the ability to work on own initiative while demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
