Responsibilities Discuss, draft, and review multi-territorial music licensing and other aggregated rights agreements including with record labels, music publishers and local collecting societies, across all Google products, including YouTube and YouTube Music, whilst helping develop and drive licensing strategy, adapting regulatory developments. Analyze local legal developments and upcoming legislation in order to advise Legal, Policy, Product, and other cross-functional colleagues on the implications for existing and new products and features. Advise Business teams on legal issues and risks, complex agreement structures, company policies and procedures, and discussing agreement strategy for agreement renewals (and expiried). Develop expertise in YouTube, YouTube Music, other relevant Google products, and build relationships with legal and cross-functional colleagues in our EMEA offices, the US, and other regions.
