What role are we looking to recruit?
We are on the lookout for a Full Stack DevOps Engineer to join our growing team.
In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Product Engineering. Supported by cross-team resources and a trusted third-party software development agency, you will be a core part of our Innovation and Research Cell, helping to build the next evolution of our business.
This is a dynamic, mid-level technical role bridging full-stack development, CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure deployment, and occasional work with AI agents. In this role, you’ll work closely with a third-party development agency to review code, test features, and manage releases through CI/CD pipelines.
It is the perfect fit for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants a hands-on position that extends beyond a traditional, 100% coding-focused software engineering role.
You’ll contribute to both front-end and back-end development, build integrations, automations, APIs, and background jobs to streamline operations, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code. You’ll also collaborate with our AI Engineer on deploying updates to AI-driven solutions, ensure systems are patched and secure, and occasionally support customers directly by diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
What you’ll bring
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
· Strong technical expertise in Next.js, React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Python, with experience delivering full stack solutions.
· Proven deployment experience, maintaining reliable, error-free releases through CI/CD pipelines.
· Hands-on automation skills, with a track record of reducing manual workload through APIs, webhooks, background jobs, and system integrations.
· Security-focused mindset, ensuring platforms are consistently patched and compliant with defined SLAs.
· Experience reviewing and validating code, with the ability to efficiently assess third-party contributions and maintain development momentum.
· Collaborative approach, building strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
· Excellent communication skills, able to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Customer-focused attitude, confident in handling live issues and resolving problems under pressure.
· Adaptability, comfortable switching between development, infrastructure, pipelines, and troubleshooting as needed.
· Strong attention to detail, ensuring all code and deployments meet high-quality and production standards.
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to attend our London (Southwark) office at least fortnightly, with additional visits required for key meetings and events.
