Job Description
We’re looking for a high‑performing Regional Sales Manager to join our Roofing team in the South West of England. This is a field‑based role.
The Opportunity
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of your region’s sales performance, strategy, and growth. You’ll run your area as a business within a business, balancing short‑term results with long‑term value creation.
You will:
* Be accountable for delivering sales in line with revenue and margin targets
* Lead, coach, and develop four direct reports consisting of sales managers/representatives
* Play a key role in shaping regional and national sales strategy
* Work closely with senior leadership to drive sustainable growth
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Performance
* Own and deliver the regional sales plan aligned to the company’s objectives
* Drive consistent performance against revenue, margin, and activity KPIs
* Forecast accurately, manage pipelines rigorously, and identify growth opportunities
* Take decisive action to address underperformance and unlock potential
People Leadership
* Set clear objectives, coach regularly, and conduct high‑quality performance reviews
* Build a high‑performance, accountable, and collaborative sales culture
* Support succession planning and talent development within the region
Commercial Excellence
* Ensure disciplined CRM usage, reporting, and data‑driven decision‑making
* Work cross‑functionally with marketing, operations, and senior leadership
* Represent the region professionally at customer meetings and internal forums
