Oldham Council is hiring Children's Social Workers across three key teams:
MASH
Safeguarding & Child Protection Team

Competitive Salary : £36,648 - £40,221 per annum (plus £2,000 retention payment)

Safeguarding & Child Protection Team
Undertake assessments and develop Care & Support Plans for at-risk children.
Develop and implement permanence plans to secure long-term stability for children in care.
Work closely with foster carers, adopters, and connected carers to ensure successful placements.
Advocate for children and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making.
Work in partnership with families and professionals to provide timely safeguarding responses.
Qualified Social Workers with Social Work England registration.
Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience (safeguarding, permanence, or assessment & intervention preferred).
Strong assessment, risk management, and decision-making skills.
A full driving licence or ability to travel across Oldham.
