Ad-hoc Seasonal Ecologist 2026 – Brindle & Green
This role is an ad-hoc Seasonal Ecologist position, which would involve completing evening surveys, including surveys for bats and great crested newts. This is an ideal position if you have other commitments that you may need to work around but still want to build some experience within the sector. This role will be throughout the 2026 season March-October 2026.
Responsibilities & Benefits
* Conduct ecological surveys including (but not limited to): reptile surveys, great crested newt surveys, bat emergence and bat activity surveys.
* Structured training provided.
* Supporting other members of the team.
* Invoices and expenses paid monthly.
* Accommodation for overnight stays and expenses covered.
All survey equipment is provided; however, we ask that anyone applying for this role has access to their own vehicle to drive to and from the office in order to complete the surveys at odd hours of the night, which can be problematic if relying on public transport.
