Technical Administrator
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £32,000 per year
Hours: 37 per week

Purpose:
To provide technical, administrative, and systems support across the Engineering and Health & Safety departments, ensuring accurate data management, smooth coordination, and on-time delivery of engineering processes.
Technical Administrator Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate engineering and H&S documentation internally and with customers, ensuring accuracy and traceability
* Maintain engineering databases, ERP systems, and manual records for reporting and control
* Load bills of materials and standard routings into the ERP system, preparing plannings for engineer sign-off
* Support engineering delivery by monitoring process timelines and compliance with customer specifications
* Assist CAD/CAM activities including 2D drawings, sheet metal routing/punching, and basic 3-axis CNC programs
* Maintain data control for engineering documentation, including 3D models and paper records
* Provide administrative support to the H&S function, including safety card logging, KPI tracking, and risk assessment updates
* Carry out general technical and administrative tasks to support Engineering and Health & Safety teams
Technical Administrator Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in a technical or engineering administrative role, preferably in manufacturing
* Proficient in CAD/CAM software and ERP systems
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Basic understanding of CNC programming and engineering processes
* Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
