Job Duties:
1. Providing high-quality care and support to patients in a healthcare setting
2. Assisting with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and dressing patients
3. Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
4. Assisting healthcare professionals with medical procedures
5. Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients
6. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications:
7. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
8. Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
11. Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
12. Driver with Access to a vehicle
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant
Knowledge and Skills:
13. Knowledge of health and safety regulations
14. Ability to follow instructions and protocols
15. Empathy and compassion towards patients
16. Basic IT skills
Preferred Qualifications:
17. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
18. First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
The Healthcare Assistant role involves working in a healthcare environment, which may include exposure to illnesses and medical procedures. The position requires standing for extended periods and lifting/moving patients. Part-Time hours are expected with potential for flexible shifts.
