Teacher of Food & Nutrition

Responsibilities
* Deliver an engaging and high‑quality Food & Nutrition curriculum across the school.
* Teach engaging lessons at Key Stage 3 and deliver the AQA Food Preparation and Nutrition specification.
* Lead and manage the Food & Nutrition department, including line management of a technician and a part‑time staff member.
* Manage the department budget effectively.
* Maintain high expectations and standards for students.
* Organise and run enrichment opportunities such as clubs and competitions.
Qualifications
* Experienced teacher with practical expertise in Food & Nutrition.
* Confidence in teaching engaging lessons at Key Stage 3 and experience delivering the AQA Food Preparation and Nutrition specification.
* Genuine passion for cooking and ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* Accomplished and reflective practitioner who thrives in a vibrant, busy, and highly productive environment.
* Ability to contribute creatively to the department and wider school community.
This position would suit an experienced teacher.
