Senior Estimator – Civil Engineering & Groundworks
Location: Birmingham (flexible working options)

The Role
Our client is a respected civil engineering and groundworks contractor with a strong national presence. They are looking for a Senior Estimator to join their expanding commercial team as they continue to grow.
This role is ideal for an experienced estimator with a background in groundworks, civil engineering or infrastructure who is looking to play a key role in a family-founded business known for quality delivery, long-term client relationships and a collaborative working culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Record, review and prioritise new tender opportunities.
2. Analyse tender documentation including drawings, specifications, site investigations and scope of works.
3. Work closely with commercial, production, planning and procurement teams.
4. Carry out accurate take-offs and produce BOQs using appropriate software.
5. Obtain, assess and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
6. Price bills and schedules analytically from first principles.
