Robertson Recruitment are seeking a skilled and motivated buyer to join a dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and services to support our operations. If you have knowledge about plastic tax that would be beneficial as these are the materials the company works with.

Duties
Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate logistics to optimise supply chain efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
Maintain supplier records in Sage & Nulogy
Help manage any compliance and audit issues
Requirements
Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role within a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and logistics operations.
Proficiency in using ERP systems
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
