Rehabilitation Veterinary Surgeon - East Yorkshire
Step into a unique leadership role within a purpose-built, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital offering advanced rehabilitation facilities including an underwater treadmill, hydrotherapy pool, and physiotherapy suite. The practice provides a balanced work/life setup with no late nights or OOH shifts and a supportive team consisting of RVNs and hydrotherapists. The role involves collaboration with certificate holders in diagnostic imaging, surgery, medicine, and chronic pain management in a forward-thinking, independent practice committed to holistic veterinary care. The salary ranges from £45,000–£58,000 (DOE), with potential for a longer-term position following maternity cover in a progressive clinical environment.

Responsibilities
* Lead a small, skilled team including two full-time hydrotherapists (one of which is an RVN) while maintaining and growing an established client base.
* Work within a dedicated rehabilitation department featuring an underwater treadmill, large hydrotherapy pool, and fully equipped physiotherapy suite with holistic services (acupuncture, physiotherapy, class IV laser therapy, and tailored exercise programs).
* Collaborate with internal and external referrals from local practices to manage a varied caseload, including chronic conditions and post-operative orthopaedic and neurological cases.
* Be part of a collaborative, values-driven culture and support professional development within the department.
* Participate in shaping the rehabilitation service within the practice and contribute to client-focused care.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a Veterinary Surgeon with experience and qualifications in veterinary rehabilitation, including acupuncture and chronic pain management. The Rota
* Full time position (part-time considered)
* 4 days per week with a fixed weekday off
* Alternate Saturdays
* No late nights or OOH shifts
