Aftersales Executive required in Tewkesbury.
Salary: £26,000 per annum plus performance-related bonus up to £450 per month.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm.
A not‑to‑miss opportunity has become available for an Aftersales Executive for our client’s large franchise‑approved motorhome/caravan dealership located in Tewkesbury.
Reporting to the Service Centre Manager, the role is a front‑of‑house position and will require you to, but not limited to, book customers in, raise paperwork, bank, process invoicing and generate business.
Key Responsibilities
* Promoting our client's products and services.
* Liaising with and giving full service to the sales team.
* All warranty administration duties, including letters, faxes, quotes, prospects, sending mail, etc.
* Processing warranty supplier invoices.
* Action all aspects of manufacturing and used vehicle warranty claims.
* Process the return of all warranty parts and maintain records.
* Check service/warranty job cards are completed correctly within manufacturing guidelines.
* Completion of all the necessary paperwork and input into the company computer system to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of all claims.
* Ensure professional preparation of all vehicles, including PDIs, SMMT checks, routine servicing and repairs.
* Ensure prompt, polite and proactive aftersales reception.
* Ensure charging out of retail, warranty and internal work in accordance with policy guidelines. Responsible for hours utilisation and charge out for engineers.
* Oversee ordering of parts and accessories as required.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Regularly audit and compile a report on tools, equipment and stock.
* On a monthly basis, report on performance.
* Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times by following and working within our client's computer system and customer care programme.
* Perform any other ad hoc tasks, as required, which will help to contribute to the overall performance of the business.
Qualifications
No previous experience in this position is required.
To be eligible, strong experience in a similar administration/customer service‑oriented position would be required. Experience working with motorhomes/caravans or in the automotive industry would be highly desirable, but is non‑essential.
The successful Aftersales Executive would be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in 100% customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills, along with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and database systems, would be of high priority. Liaising with manufacturers to authorise warranty repairs, and a general knowledge of warranty procedures would be advantageous, but is not essential.
