What we expect
Assist the Head Chef in the management of kitchen operations.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency in presentation and flavor.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, maintaining clear communication and teamwork.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.
Manage inventory and kitchen supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Collaborate on menu planning and the introduction of new dishes.
Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen staff scheduling and assignments.
Monitor food costs and portion control.
Respond to customer feedback and adapt offerings accordingly.
Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently during service hours.

Essential Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.
Strong culinary skills with a good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.

Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a supervisory role.
Experience working with local and seasonal ingredients.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant is advantageous.

Our team of chefs are passionate about sourcing only the very best seasonal ingredients and crafting them into delicious moreish dishes. Everything is made in-house by the brigade, except for our sourdough.
Alongside our all-day bar menu and à la carte dining, we are also open for breakfast.
