You will be joining Rushcliffe Care, a company with over 35 years of experience in offering the highest levels of care to our most vulnerable in society. We provide specialist mental health and complex care services across the Midlands, focusing on recovery, dignity, and community inclusion.
Pay: £12.74 per hour
About Highbury House
Highbury House is a converted rectory in Stourbridge that provides dedicated support for adults living with a range of mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities. The service offers a stable and therapeutic environment for up to 20 service users, helping each person to build confidence, develop daily living skills, and move toward greater independence.
Our committed team delivers structured, person‑centred care including nursing support, mental health provision, and learning disability services ensuring every individual receives the guidance and encouragement they need to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives.
About The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping our service users live safely, comfortably, and with purpose. You’ll support individuals with their daily routines, personal care, and social activities, and encourage independence wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Supporting emotional and physical wellbeing in line with personalised care plans.
* Encouraging independence, choice, and active participation in daily life.
* Assisting with medication, meals, and personal care where required.
* Building positive, trusting relationships that promote stability and confidence.
* Supporting activities both within the home and in the community.
* Maintaining accurate care records and effective communication with the team.
All training will be provided, including the Care Certificate if you are new to care. You will also have opportunities to progress through nationally recognised qualifications and internal development pathways.
About You
We are looking for people who are caring, reliable, and motivated to make a difference.
Experience in care is welcome but not essential as full training and shadowing will be provided.

* Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team.
* Be patient, understanding, and respectful at all times.
* Be flexible to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check, the cost of which is covered by Rushcliffe Care.
