Housing Services at Oxford City Council is undergoing significant transformation and improvement. Following a significant restructure, we are now looking to recruit two really exciting new roles to enhance and further improve our service delivery to residents. The Housing Strategy and Performance Lead is responsible for managing the Strategy, Performance and Resident Engagement teams, ensuring effective development and delivery of housing policies and resident engagement strategies. This role supports the Director of Housing in implementing transformation programmes and service plans, while overseeing research, data analysis and compliance with a range of housing regulations. Role purpose To effectively lead on the management of the Strategy, Performance and Resident Involvement team and relevant functions of housing policy and strategy work. To ensure the development and delivery of a resident engagement strategy including the leadership and operation of a high-quality tenant involvement service ensuring engaged tenants can work with the Housing Service to provide active scrutiny and involvement in service development. To support the Director of Housing in delivering the housing transformation and change programme, as well as the service plan. To lead on the co-ordination and lead research and data analysis projects, ensuring that they are delivered in line with time, budget and quality requirements, and contribute to the internal and external dissemination of results via reports, presentations, websites, and meetings. To be the service lead in ensuring the Housing Service meets the requirements of the social housing regulator including preparation for Tenant Satisfaction Measures and external inspection. Working in partnership with others, to lead on the development of the Council’s Housing, Homelessness and Rough Sleeping strategy ensuring that all services including affordable housing supply are co-ordinated to meet the objectives included in the Council’s strategic housing function.
