Multi Skills Construction Lecturer
Job Overview
TeacherActive, a mainstream college in Berkshire, is looking for an experienced Multi Skills Construction Lecturer to teach and assess multi‑skills qualifications on a long‑term basis until the end of the academic year. The role will help learners achieve excellent results, following and implementing the schemes of learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and assess multi‑skills construction qualifications to students.
* Develop engaging lessons, coursework and assessment materials.
* Support and advise learners to pursue careers in construction.
* Ensure accurate and timely grading in line with national standards.
* Maintain up‑to‑date industry knowledge and best practice.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* A Level 3 Diploma or NVQ in Construction.
* Level 3 Assessor award or a relevant teaching qualification.
* Knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and the E‑portfolio system (Smart Assessor) is beneficial.
* Extensive industry experience and knowledge.
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the UKupdate service (desirable).
* Minimum Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent.
