P&CS Admin Supervisor - Community (Band 4)
Please note: This is a fixed-term post until 31st March 2026.
Hours: to be worked over 5 days per week.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Primary & Community Services as part of an existing admin team as a Community Supervisor.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can work flexibly to supervise an admin team of secretaries, receptionists, and ward clerks working in health centres and community hospitals across NHS Borders.
The successful applicant will collaborate with leads and service managers to oversee processes such as appointment booking, staff training, rostering, and absence cover. The supervisor will ensure admin staff feel supported, especially when dealing with difficult members of the public.
We seek someone who is organized, approachable, and adaptable. As a supervisor, you should be able to think on your feet, communicate confidently, and solve problems effectively.
Applicants should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). A full, clean driving license is required as travel across Borders may be necessary. The base location will be confirmed.

***Please ensure your application is submitted early, as late applications cannot be accepted.***
