Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £33,596 – £51,932

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Engineering to deliver high‑quality teaching across Engineering programmes at Levels 2 and 3. You will bring energy to the classroom, support learners from a variety of backgrounds, and contribute to the ongoing development of our curriculum.
Responsibilities
* Delivering engaging teaching sessions and preparing relevant learning materials
* Marking and assessing student work
* Supporting learners with guidance, feedback and pastoral care
* Working with awarding bodies and assisting with exam processes
* Collaborating with colleagues across curriculum areas
* Maintaining accurate documentation such as registers, schemes of work and reports
Qualifications
* A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
* A teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one
* Strong mathematical knowledge and the ability to apply it within Engineering contexts
* Up‑to‑date industry knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Confidence in using a range of teaching methods and creating high‑quality learning resources
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
* Good IT skills, ideally including Microsoft Office and Google applications
* Competence in CAD/CAM
* Welsh language skills (desirable)
