We are looking for compassionate and committed Support Workers/ Healthcare Assistants in Salford, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in his family home.
Meet Our Service User
Our service user is a sociable young man in his 20’s who lives in his family home in Salford, he requires support with his complex and clinical care needs on a 2:1 basis throughout the night.
As his dedicated support worker/healthcare assistant, you will play a big part in encouraging and supporting him to access the community and assisting him in enjoying his hobbies and interests such as, bowling, playing on his PlayStation, he particularly enjoys playing FIFA and going fishing.
He also loves to spend quality time with his family and watching TV. He especially enjoys watching soaps and his favourite football team Manchester United.
Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, repositioning, monitor and attend to his clinical needs as required. You will ensure his comfort, meeting his needs to promote a restful night’s sleep.
Our Ideal Applicants will be pet friendly as there are pet dogs within the property
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
1. 3 months previous care experience
2. Personal Care
3. Moving and Handling
4. Medication Administration
Desirable Experience
5. PEG Feeding
6. Spinal Injury Knowledge
7. Ventilation Management
8. Bowel Management
9. Nebuliser Care
We have the following shifts available;
10. Part time Nights Available- 2 shifts per week
11. Nights- 7:00pm – 7:00am
12. Alternate weekends are needed for this position
Take a look at our pay rates!
Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £162 per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £168 per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holiday £17.00 per hour (Approx. £204 per 12-hour shift)
