A supportive SEND school in North Tyneside is looking for a Teaching Assistant who’s patient, adaptable, and ready to help students shine. The role involves supporting children with autism and social, emotional, and mental health needs—helping them to feel safe, engaged, and confident at school. Day-to-day, you’ll: Provide 1:1 and small group support Build trusting relationships with pupils Help with communication and sensory strategies Encourage independence and resilience What you’ll need: Previous SEND experience (or transferable care skills) A nurturing, team-first attitude Thrive or similar training (we’ll provide it for free if not!)
