What is the opportunity?
The Product Management Manager will support client facing teams in the provision of banking products to their clients, including responding to queries and providing ongoing support, education, and awareness of banking products and relevant processes.
A key responsibility is to support the Senior Manager in overseeing regulations impacting the Banking business and products, including monitoring product performance and regulatory reporting. The role involves implementing regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
The Wealth Management Europe Banking team manages all aspects of banking products across the UK and CI, including client & product approvals, compliance, reporting, documentation, and communication. A strong understanding of the product suite is essential.
What will you do?
* Support the Senior Manager and team.
* Provide advice on banking products and processes.
* Assist client-facing professionals with banking issues and queries, acting as an escalation point.
* Develop and deliver MI reporting on KPIs and KRIs.
* Maintain and improve products, policies, and procedures, focusing on risk reduction and efficiency.
* Ensure procedures are current and followed.
* Approve onboarding of new clients and products, and changes to existing records.
* Review and approve exceptions and fee waivers.
* Monitor controls, escalate issues, and implement corrective actions.
* Handle regulatory reporting deadlines and requirements.
* Participate in process reviews, audits, and compliance monitoring.
* Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to update policies.
What do you need to succeed?
* Experience in financial services, especially in banking.
* Knowledge of domestic and international payment systems.
* Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to build relationships within and outside the team.
Nice-to-have
* Knowledge of UK and Channel Islands banking regulations.
