We are recruiting on behalf of a leading brand in the consumer goods sector for an International Account Manager [Head of Sales] looking after the sales team and account base in Germany and the Netherlands. This role offers the opportunity to lead a sales team of three people, manage strategy, manage key relationships, and expand the company's presence in the German and Dutch markets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage existing key retail relationships.
* Manage an ambitious sales team of three people
* Business development and new relationship development with retailers not currently traded with
* Manage and grow relationships with distributors, agents, and direct retail partners.
* Take ownership of sales and profitability targets, working closely with cross-functional teams.
* Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and sales strategies.
* Oversee international exhibitions and trade shows, representing the brand globally.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience managing [non food] retailers across Germany and Netherlands.
* Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
* Experience in category management and strategic planning.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across different cultures.
* Willingness to open new retail relationships
* People management experience
* German or dutch language skills
