Our Client
A new UK-based financial services provider is launching a credit card offering aimed at delivering fair, flexible, and user-friendly financial products to consumers. The organisation is committed to empowering individuals by enhancing their understanding and control of personal finance through clarity, intelligence, and technology.
Full Stack Software Developer -Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure that the technical roadmap aligns with the product vision. Actively participate in product planning meetings and provide technical input to guide the team's priorities.
* Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, AWS Lambda, React with Next.js, TypeScript, and Terraform.
* Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
* Ensure code quality, organisation, and automatisation.
* Deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
* Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols.
* Contribute to the development of technical documentation and standards.
Full Stack Software Developer -Experience Required
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role with a strong portfolio of projects
* Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment where priorities change quickly
* Expertise in Node.js and AWS Lambda for serverlessbackend services
* Proficiency in React with Next.js for frontend development
* Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* Ability to embrace change and be open-minded to different approaches
* Adaptable to new technologies, processes and ways of working
* Excellent written and verbal English
