The Role:
Financial Accountant

In this pivotal role, as a Financial Accountant, you will support on critical projects and make significant contributions to the success of our financial reporting team, especially during the year-end season. Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for controlling and confirming the monthly reporting of the international portfolio to Group reporting functions
2. Review and document the differences between local international reporting GAAP and IFRS
3. Maintain IFRS adjustments throughout the year for PIB’s consolidated accounts
4. Support local international financial teams with accounting queries
5. Analyse and investigate monthly balance sheet variance
6. Work with external and internal audit as required around year end responsibilities and the control environment
7. Review local statutory accounts to PIB Group financial statements to ensure the integrity of reported figures
8. Work collaboratively across the Financial Control management team to deliver the wider business service
Experience:
9. Qualified Accountant - CCAB, ACA/ACCA/CIMA
10. Oracle/NetSuite experience desirable
11. Experience working in a central finance function with international elements preferable within the financial services industry
12. Experienced in delivering monthly financial information
13. Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data from multiple sources
14. Strong communication skills with a collaborative and influential approach to stakeholder management
15. Demonstrate strong problem solving ability and process improvement
