In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be essential in creating a positive atmosphere. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and professionalism.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with some experience, although we provide comprehensive training. Excellent time management and organizational skills are important. We value positive energy, a natural ability to get along with people, and strong communication skills—being attentive and considerate when interacting with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We offer full training and a variety of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
* Part-time 3 on 3 off rotation
* Paid enhanced DBS/PVG checks
* Free uniform
* Hourly rate dependent on experience and qualifications
* Company pension scheme
