A well-established, privately owned company based in Trafford Park is seeking an exceptional Office Administrator to join its busy and dynamic administration team. This confidential role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key office processes and contribute directly to the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations.
The Role
This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys structure, organisation, and working with both internal colleagues and external customers. You will be responsible for processing orders, supporting stock control, managing communications, and ensuring operational and customer service standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle incoming calls and emails professionally and efficiently
* Accurately process customer orders and follow up with confirmations
* Fulfil the customer service role, looking after customer requirements and managing the sales inbox efficiently
* Monitor stock levels and liaise with suppliers when necessary
* Maintain internal records using Profit4 software by OGL
* Generate production sheets and support routing schedules
* Proactively identify and implement process improvements
* Maintain order logs, filing systems, and general office upkeep
* Ensure all deadlines, targets, and KPIs are consistently met
Requirements
Ideal Candidate
You'll be highly organised, solutions-focused, and motivated to deliver excellent service — with the confidence to work independently and the communication skills to work well within a team.
Essential:
* Proven experience in administration and/or customer service
* Proficiency in Profit 4 by OGL Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
* GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and time management
* Calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
Desirable:
* Knowledge of stock control or supply chain admin
* Experience within the Janitorial or packaging industry
* Experience with the current software
* Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment
* Clean UK driving licence
