About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is searching for an enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join a secondary school in Tameside starting in September 2025. This full-time role involves delivering Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to develop critical thinking skills and a love of problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lesson Planning & Delivery: Create and deliver dynamic, engaging Mathematics lessons that meet the needs of all students.
* Assessment: Regularly assess student progress through formative assessments and track academic performance.
* GCSE Preparation: Help prepare students for their Mathematics GCSE exams, providing guidance on exam techniques, and offering additional support where needed.
* Differentiation: Tailor lessons to meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or those working at higher levels.
* Behaviour Management: Maintain a productive and positive classroom environment, managing student behaviour effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4.
* A passion for Mathematics and helping students reach their potential.
* Experience in preparing students for GCSE exams is preferred, though not essential.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
