PQE: 5-9 years (we can consider at candidates outside this range too)
Location: Malton or York Office
Hybrid working: Yes, 2 days’ work from home
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

The Ideal Candidate:
This exciting position of Commercial Property Solicitor provides the opportunity for an experienced commercial property solicitor with motivation and drive to delve in and advise clients in relation to the full spectrum of commercial work. You will be an important member of the Corporate / Commercial team, where your skills and experience will continue to grow along with the firm. Regular use of a car will also be an advantage.
* 5-9 years PQE of relevant experience
* Previous commercial experience is essential
* Excellent client service levels and an understanding of the range and type of clients and their needs
* Experience of building strong client relationships to encourage an active pipeline of work
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, agents and work colleagues in a family and approachable manner
* Handling a wide range of commercial property matters
* Managing own caseload through effective use of case management system
* Provide support and supervision to colleagues in the team
Requirements/Desirables:
* A Law degree (preferred) or equivalent qualification.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Commercial Property Solicitor Role
* Possess a thorough understanding of Commercial Awareness and Professional Integrity.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) & Partners for Windows.
* Great analytical skills and the ability to offer practical, risk-based solutions.
* Excel at working independently and collaboratively with all internal colleagues
