Our client, a leading offshore boutique law firm, is looking to recruit a corporate tax lawyer to take a lead in the development of a tax practice in Bermuda. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced lawyer with expertise in corporate tax to move into a key offshore market.
The ideal candidate could be at Senior Associate, Counsel or Partner level but regardless, should be excited by the opportunity to play a key role in client management and development.You will be UK/Ireland or Common Law qualified and have strong, cross-sector experience gained with a respected City or equivalent practice.
The firm is highly ranked in the major legal directories and well-respected in the Bermuda market. You will join a team that fields some of the leading corporate lawyers on the island and will have the opportunity to leverage their strong relationships as well as developing your own network.

Process
Interviews may take place in person in London, or by videoconference, with start dates negotiable, depending on your notice period. Our clients provide comprehensive assistance with visas and relocation.

Highly competitive salary, low tax-rate. Comprehensive benefits, bonus, and relocation package (flights + temporary accommodation on arrival + expenses allowance).
Requirements
You will need to be UK/Commonwealth (Australia/New Zealand/Canada/South Africa) admitted Solicitor/ Attorney and are likely to have in excess of 6 years’ pqe. Applicants outside of that range are welcome to apply but note that 3 years’ pqe is required for work permit reasons.
