FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - COMMERCIAL LAUNDRY EQUIPMENT
We are seeking experienced White Goods Engineers, Domestic Appliance Engineers, Catering Engineers, Laundry Engineers, or Field Service Engineers to join a worldwide manufacturer of Commercial Laundry Equipment. Due to continued sales growth, we require additional Field Engineers to undertake service, breakdown, and fault-finding on a wide range of commercial appliances and laundry equipment.
Locations:
* Anglia - Norwich/Ipswich
* Essex - Chelmsford
* North London - Watford, Harrow, St Albans
* South Coast - Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth, etc.
* Devon & Cornwall - Exeter & Plymouth
* Northeast - Middlesborough, Durham, Darlington
Requirements:
* Experience as a Field Service Engineer with electro-mechanical or gas and electrical skills
* Ability to use a Multi Meter
* Experience as a Laundry Engineer, White Goods Engineer, or Domestic Appliance Engineer is advantageous
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Gas ACS qualification desirable (training can be provided after probation)
* Ability to work efficiently to rectify breakdowns and accurately follow PPM schedules
* Electrical competence including dead testing and safe isolation
* Experience working on commercial laundry brands such as Miele, Electrolux, Girbau, JLA is advantageous
* Experience with domestic appliances like Beko, Whirlpool, Haier, Bosch, Fisher Paykel, Hotpoint, Smeg, etc. is advantageous
The Role:
Based from home, you will undertake service, breakdown, and fault-finding on commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironers at client premises such as care homes, universities, and hotels. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring all service visits meet company and client expectations. Ongoing manufacturer/product training will be provided for candidates with relevant experience.
Hours & Remuneration:
* Monday to Friday - 42.5 hours per week
* Standby rota - 1 in 4 weekends, with approx. £4,000-£6,000 extra annually
* Paid travel - door to door
* Overtime paid at x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays
* Company van (automatic transit, fully equipped, available for personal use)

The package offers a basic salary of £36,000, with a London allowance of £5,000 if residing inside M25, standby pay of £50 per day (approx. £4,000-£6,000 extra annually), and performance-based bonuses. Interested and experienced candidates should contact Ella at startMonday.
