Job summary
The post holder will work as a member of (PCN) Primary Care Network 3 which is made up of 7 GP practices based in North London working for there general practice team and under the supervision of the registerednurses to both organise and facilitate care to provide holistic and proactivecare to patients registered at the practice.
The tasks listed in this job role could be included but are notlimited to them. This role may evolve in line with the practices and PCNrequirements.
Starting salary £30,000 negotiable based on experience.
*Option if interested to also work Saturday and eveningsas part of an Extended Access service*

Main duties of the job

Within this, we are divided into 7 Primary Care Networks (PCNs), each with its own leadership structure. Barnet Federated GPs is made up of a small, office-based team along with some clinical and non-clinical staff whom we employ on behalf of the PCNs. Job responsibilities
Working under thesupervision of the PCN and Training Hub nurses and strictly in accordance withspecific practice guidelines and protocols, the nursing associate will assistthe PCN clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes ofpatient care. This role may evolve in line with the practicesand PCN requirements.

Essential
1. Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development
2. Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code.
3. Knowledge of when to seek advice and escalate to the appropriate professional for expert help and advice
4. Understand requirements for NMC professional Revalidation
5. Understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans
6. Significant experience working in a healthcare environment as part of a team.
Desirable
7. Experience working as a Health Care Support Worker
8. Experience of using clinical systems
Qualifications
Essential
9. Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
10. Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification
11. GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent
