Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Hybrid (On-site & Remote)
Overview
We are in the early stages of building a modern data infrastructure using Microsoft Fabric technologies. As part of our growth, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support data transformation and integration initiatives, with a strong focus on Python-based development.
This role will play a key part in modernising legacy data processes and delivering scalable, efficient data solutions that support business applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for transforming and integrating data from multiple sources
* Re-engineer and modernise existing legacy scripts and processes
* Develop and optimise Python-based solutions for data integration and automation
* Migrate data workflows into a Microsoft Fabric environment
* Ensure data is transformed, structured, and stored efficiently for downstream consumption
* Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data solutions aligned with business requirements
* Support data extraction, transformation, and export processes for target systems
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
* Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing and integration
* Solid understanding of databases, SQL, and data manipulation techniques
* Experience designing and building ETL/data pipelines
* Familiarity with modern data platforms (experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly desirable)
* Experience working with and modernising legacy data systems
Working Arrangement
This is a hybrid role, requiring a mix of on‑site collaboration for project work and remote working flexibility.
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms
* Exposure to data warehousing and analytics environments
* Knowledge of data governance and best practices
