Job Description
Applied Talent Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client for a National Security Customer Lead based in the Cheltenham area.
This is a high-trust, commercially focused role for someone who already operates credibly in the UK National Security environment and can lead client engagement, shape opportunities, win new work, and grow strategic accounts.
Existing UK eDV clearance is absolutely mandatory.
Applications without active eDV should not apply.
The role
You will take ownership of senior client relationships across the National Security space, with responsibility for identifying opportunities, shaping propositions, winning new business, and growing existing accounts.

You will likely bring:
* Existing, active UK eDV clearance
* Direct experience working with UK National Security clients
* A track record in net new business, account growth, renewals, or commercial expansion
* Strong stakeholder engagement across complex government or classified environments
* Experience shaping propositions, opportunities, and client plans
* The ability to work as a senior individual contributor with strong commercial judgement
* Credible access to Cheltenham, or a clear and realistic commute for regular on-site presence
Likely backgrounds
This role could suit individuals from backgrounds such as:
* Customer Lead
* Client Partner
* Account Director

Package

* Bonus
* Pension and benefits
* Hybrid working, with regular presence required in the Cheltenham area
Important note
This role requires current UK eDV clearance.
SC only, DV in process, or "eligible to be cleared" is not sufficient.
