Job Title: Shop Manager – Matcha, Coffee & Açai Specialty Cafe
The Mission
As our founding Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our new flagship location. You aren't just running a cafe; you are building a lifestyle brand. You will oversee the launch and daily operations of a space dedicated to the highest quality ceremonial matcha, specialty coffee, and artisan açai bowls.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and train a team of baristas and Superfood Specialists to deliver "wow" moments every time.
* Operational Excellence: Manage daily rotas, inventory procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure 100% product availability.
* Financial Performance: Drive profitability by monitoring expenses, managing labor costs, and analyzing sales trends.
* Quality & Aesthetic Control: Maintain obsessive standards for and bowl presentation (the "Instagram factor").
* Community Engagement: Lead local marketing efforts and loyalty programs to turn first-time visitors into regulars.
* Compliance: Ensure the shop meets all health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
What We're Looking For
* Experience: 3+ years in, ideally within specialty coffee or health-focused concepts.
* Specialized Knowledge: A genuine passion for (or willingness to master) the nuances of matcha grades and açai sourcing.
* Founding Mindset: A proactive, entrepreneurial leader who thrives in the "organized chaos" of a new business launch.
* Tech Savvy: Comfortable using POS systems.
