Overview
Clinical Development Nurse - Complex Care Homes role at Barchester. You will lead, support and continuously improve the clinical governance and quality of care for residents in our complex care homes across England.
You will be expected to support the performance of each home to ensure it operates to the highest clinical standards. Review the clinical governance database and KPIs of each home every month, analyse the results and identify practical strategies to ensure all regulations are met and we continually improve the care we deliver.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Managing Director, improvement specialists and senior clinical staff in each home to support continual improvement of standards and help implement key actions to address any issues that arise.
* Organise training, assist in attracting key senior clinical staff, and deliver clinical investigations.
* Your leadership skills and passion for delivering the best care will make a real difference to residents.
* Due to the divisional nature of this role, a willingness for regular travel is essential.
About You / Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration.
* Evidence of continued professional development and a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
* Experience in a care home environment and as a confident clinical mentor, including with newly-qualified nurses.
* Leadership, sharp analytical mind, ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on action plans to achieve results.
